A sodium calcium aluminum silicate sulfate that can be found in the Eifel Mountains in Germany and on Mte Somma in Italy. It’s often used in jewelry, especially the neon-blue variety.
Lazurite
A sodium calcium aluminum silicate sulfate sulfide chloride that’s deep blue to greenish in color. It’s created by contact metamorphism of limestone.
Nosean
A sodium aluminum silicate sulfate that can be white, green, blue, or brown in color. It’s fluorescent.
