The Payson Rimstones Rock Club hosts its Annual Gem & Mineral Show September 15th, 16th and 17th at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino Event Center, on HWY 87 at mile marker 251, Payson AZ. The 2023 Annual Gem & Mineral Show will be September 15th through 17th.
Education Center: We offer a Spinning Wheel (where everyone wins a rock), a magnificent fluorescent mineral display, a free Treasure Hunt for junior rock collectors, sandstone/rock painting, and much more. There are educational materials to take home, as well as a table for “Ask the Geologist” who identifies mystery rocks and fossils.
Auctions, Raffles and Door Prizes: Our show has an end-of-show raffle, a silent auction ending every 30 minutes and hourly door prizes.
Demonstrations: In 2022, we added daily demonstrations by artists who made jewelry, stone carvings and did wire-wrapping. Demonstrations are planned for all days of our 2023 show.
